No matter what the season, you can be sure of a great experience in the Great Outdoors when you visit Quarry Park and Nature Preserve.
- In the spring, enjoy walking the green trails and seeing the return of migratory birds to the area, or doing a bit of trout fishing.
- In the summer, bring your mountain bike for some exercise along the biking trails, or cool off with a refreshing swim.
- The fall colors reflecting off of the clear quarry waters light up the entire park.
- In the winter, you can enjoy skiing on lighted trails, snowshoeing, or ice fishing.
Approximately 60,000 people per year visit Quarry Park. Come join them!
You'll need a permit to enter Quarry Park. A one-day permit is $4.00, or you can purchase an annual permit which offers unlimited use of the park for $14.00. Annual permits expire one year from the month of purchase (so, if you purchase a permit in September 2009, it will expire at the end of September 2010). Please note: we do not refund permit purchases.
