Stearns County Public Works is pleased to announce our partnership with http://www.questcdn.com/ . This is a web based initiative to bring more cost effective construction project bid advertisements and project plan documents to the construction industry. We plan to use this for all future projects. You will be notified in our normal bid advertisements about the availability of this alternative and how to actually acquire the plan sets, but we wanted you to be aware of this so you can give it a try at your earliest convenience. Just a few notes about the benefits of this service:
- Plans are delivered in the Adobe PDF format so there is no software investment required.
- While paper plans will be available for the foreseeable future, the digital plan sets will be available at a fraction of the cost of paper.
- When addenda are issued, you will receive an e-mail notifying you to return to the web site to access them.
- Planholder lists are available on-line all the time.

Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the County Auditor, Stearns County Administration Center, Room 148, 705 Courthouse Square, St. Cloud, Minnesota 56303, until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, the 4th day of March, 2010, for the construction of the following project:

Paper copies of the Plans and Proposals may be examined and obtained at the office of the County Highway Department at 455 28th Avenue South, Waite Park, Minnesota, 56387(PO Box 246, St. Cloud, Minnesota 56302) for a fee of $45.00. Checks, drafts or money orders shall be made payable to the Stearns County Auditor-Treasurer.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or corporate surety bond in favor of the County Auditor/Treasurer of Stearns County for at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal.
The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
