Greetings from the budding glory of Quarry Park! Isn't March a strange month? Isn't it wonderful to live in a state where you can cross-country ski at the beginning of the month and swim at the end? Well, almost swim then! As soon as the ice goes off the quarries, we DO have swimmers at Quarry Park. Can you believe it? It's COLD too! But the water warms up nicely by May-June. I'm writing to invite you to take a walk in a park and enjoy our beautiful weather. The weather man promised we'll hit 70 degrees by the end of the week, and I'm holding him to it! So come on over and take a walk in
Quarry Park. It is open from 8AM-1/2 hour after sunset. The longer the day, the longer you can walk, so why not start now? Why not walk off some of those Easter eggs or candy on Sunday?
If you don't live near Waite Park, you may want to check out one of our other great parks.
I'll link you to the grid,...
