About this time of the year lots of national gardening magazines feature articles on the Winter Garden. In Central MN I usually find my winter display to be under copious amounts of mulch and several feet of snow. But there is hope for the ‘garden-deprived’ in the growing of indoor plants.

It’s our fourth and final post on fall garden work. (Is that a sigh of relief?) After this, it IS over! The big chores remaining to do are to cut down the perennials and cover the beds (remember, shrubs and tricky plants like tree peonies or shrub roses are not to be cut down).

I am not much of a vegetable gardener so we have been following the efforts of MG Jacquie Sullivan as she gardens in her SE St. Cloud plot. Here is her post mortem on the summer’s efforts, and you know what? It’s all good. Yea for gardening!
