Stearns County Master Gardeners are offering a free workshop on fall gardening topics. There are three sessions, with six topics for your choice; classes are listed below. Plus a plant sale, plant demonstrations between sessions, a Q&A booth, coffee and treats to eat! A great garden get-together on Saturday, September 24, 8:AM to 11:45 AM at Whitney Senior Center, St. Cloud.
Master Gardener Joan Andersen, head of the planning committee, says there’s plenty of room for you and your friends. Join her for a class on Fall Perennials. She has divided many of her perennials and when she is not teaching will be on hand at the plant sale to advise your purchase.
I’ll be leading a session called Putting the Garden to Bed, or It's Not Over 'til It's Over and What to Do When It IS! and working at the plant booth too.
