What is your favorite thing about summer?

- Is it spending time at a family cabin?
- Is it fishing, biking, or maybe camping?
- Is it attending one of the many small town festivals?
- Maybe it’s sitting in your favorite quiet place enjoying the beautiful trees or flowers?
- Or hanging out with family and friends?
Whatever it may be, take some photos, or pull up ones you’ve already taken, and participate in the “Stearns County Summer Favorites” photo contest, celebrating the fun things to do in Stearns County. It’s an opportunity for you to show us what you love about summer in Stearns County... and possibly win a prize!
The only requirement – the "favorite" must be in Stearns County. So think of your favorite summer pastime, park, event, scenery, family activity, or absolutely anything and show us through your eyes, or your lens to be more precise… and share the photo with us.
Whether photography is your passion, a hobby, or an occasional pastime, we want you to participate. No need to be a professional; in fact, we won’t allow professional photos. This contest is for amateur photographers only.
All pictures will be displayed in the Stearns County Photo Gallery. Photographers of the top 10 photos submitted will each receive an annual permit to Stearns County’s unique and beautiful Quarry Park. The top photo will also get special recognition and be featured on the home page of Stearns County’s web site. Photos could also appear in brochures and other materials promoting the County.
