The following paid holiday observances may vary depending on your specific Union's contract. The observed column is meant to help you distinguish holiday observances per Union. If a discrepancy would arise the Union contract takes precedence:

PAID TIME OFF (PTO)
Accrue 1.75 days/month for the first 2 years.

All employees must, at a minimum, select the Core Medical Plan.

DEFERRED COMPENSATION
A deferred annuity plan that includes a variety of investment options is available through Nationwide Retirement Solutions, Minnesota State Retirement System or ING Bank.

LIFE INSURANCE
$35,000 basic life insurance paid by the County with opportunity for the employee to purchase additional coverage for self, spouse, or dependents.
DISABILITY
Long Term Disability : Provides for 50% of salary (max $1,000) per month, after 6 months and up to 3 years. Paid by the County with opportunity for the employee to purchase additional coverage.
Short Term Disability : Provides for $100 per month for 6 months. Paid by the County with opportunity for the employee to purchase additional coverage.
MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT
Based on current IRS regulations.
SAVINGS BONDS
An automatic payroll deduction is allowed for the purchase of 1 bond per month.
UNIFORM ALLOWANCE
Varies by union contract or personnel rules.
PART TIME EMPLOYEES
Benefits for eligible part-time employees are pro-rated.
