Ordinance 398: Comprehensive Local Water Plan
WHEREAS, Stearns County received final approval on January 23, 2008 from the Minnesota Board of Soil and Water Resources for the updated Comprehensive Local Water Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Stearns County Board of Commissioners, after a public hearing duly called and held, as required by law, and after due investigation and consideration, find that approving said Comprehensive Local Water Plan will be consistent with Minnesota Rules, Chapter 9300 and the Stearns County Comprehensive Plan.
THE COUNTY BOARD OF STEARNS COUNTY ORDAINS:
Section 1.0 Legal Authority.
The Stearns County Comprehensive Local Water Plan is adopted pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 103B.301 to 103B.355; or successor statutes.
Section 2.0 Adoption by Reference.
The Stearns County Comprehensive Local Water Plan is hereby adopted by reference as though a part hereof and a copy is attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit A.
Section 3.0 Repealer.
The Stearns County Comprehensive Local Water Plan adopted on March 12, 2002 and Stearns County Ordinance Number 255 are hereby repealed.
Section 4.0 Effective Date.
The Stearns County Comprehensive Local Water Plan shall be in full force and effective after its passage and publication as provided by law.

An ordinance regulating the design, installation, construction, alteration, extension, repair and maintenance of individual sewage treatment systems, requiring permits for, licensing and certification of persons engaged in the construction thereof, providing for inspection and providing for a penalty for violations thereof.
