Reserve a County Park Shelter

Reserve a shelter using our online system!

About the Shelters

All shelters are open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. You may serve (but not sell) alcohol, except in Warner Lake Park. Beer only is allowed in Warner Lake park and wine for church services. No form of alcohol is allowed on the beach. No glass is allowed. See our Abridged Park Rules and Events policy for more information.

All open-air shelters are equipped with large picnic tables, large open charcoal grills, free parking area, water pumps, outdoor restrooms, volleyball poles (you bring the net and ball) and horseshoe pits. The Nature Center has additional amenities.

Warner Lake Open-Air Shelter has these fees:

• $60.00 per group on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (May through September).
• $55.00 per group on Monday through Thursday (in season, when caretaker is working)
• $50.00 per group in the off-season (October through April and non-weekends in May and September; no caretaker on duty)
• Group of 50 or more requires a permit.
• Damage deposit is $0.50 per person
• 50% surcharge on weddings

Other open-air shelters fees: Mississippi and Spring Hill Shelters

• $50.00 per group on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (May through September).
• $45.00 per group on Monday through Thursday (in season, when caretaker is working)
• $40.00 per group in the off-season (October through April and non-weekends in May and September; no caretaker on duty)
• Group of 50 or more requires a permit.

Enclosed Shelters

Warner Lake Nature Center Capacity is approximately 120 people. 20 six-foot tables available for use. The building has ceiling fans (no air conditioning), a kitchenette equipped with stove, refrigerator, (no freezer) and sink. Parking lot capacity: 35 cars

Fees for Nature Center

• Rental is $100.00 for the first 4 hours; $20.00 per hour beyond 4 hours.
  A refundable damage deposit will be added to your fee.
• 50% discount for bona-fide non-profit groups. (Must show proof).
• 50% surcharge for weddings.
• County Department work-related events are free of charge.
