Email Updates
Throughout our website you will find subscription links to sign-up for email updates. Stearns County will send email notifications directly to you the same time the information is published online. You can get email updates on various:
- agendas
- minutes
- newsletters
- announcements
- and much more
Getting started with Stearns County email updates
- Begin by providing your email address to our subscription site.
- Set a password to your account. A password controls how your email address is subscribed and unsubscribed to the system, and protects from others subscribing you without your permission.
- After submitting your password, you'll be taken to the Quick Subscribe page, where you can continue to subscribe to any of our other email alert services. Make your selections and click Save. You will then be asked to fill out an optional brief survey.
- Activate your subscription request. You will be sent a message to your email account, asking you to confirm your request by following an included link.

NEW! Several of our updates now have text messaging enabled. You can subscribe to these topics with a phone number instead of or in addition to email. You would receive a short summary of the updated information and learn more by visiting our website.
Document Library Subscriptions
Are you interested in a specific Stearns County document or process?
Become a registered user of our site and you can track any document -- or even an entire folder -- in our
Document Library. When you're logged into our site, just click the envelope icon next to any document to track it.
- Track a document and an email will be sent whenever that document is updated
- Track a folder and an email will be sent whenever something is added, deleted or changed inside that folder
RSS (Really Simple Syndication)
RSS is an XML-based format for distributing web content (such as news headlines or new content). RSS feeds allow you to receive notification through your feed reader software when new information is available.
