Township Zoning Maps

Township zoning maps illustrate how individual townships are zoned for land uses in Stearns County as defined in Ordinance 439 (Section 9).

Stearns County Maps

Stearns County maps are available for $1.00 per map at both license centers as well as the Auditor/Treasurers Office in the Administration Center.

Minnesota Maps

Minnesota maps are also available for $2.00 per map at both license centers.

Buy a Stearns County Plat Book

The Stearns County Auditor-Treasurer’s Office has their new plat books for sale. The County’s new plat book is unique in that Stearns County is one of the first in the country to use electronic data as the source of information for the book. The data came from the County’s GIS (Geographic Information System) and tax systems.

Stearns County Auditor-Treasurer Randy Schreifels says, “For the first time ever, the maps didn’t require any hand drawing; all the information came from existing data records. This new process will allow the County to produce future editions of the plat book faster and more economically.”

In addition to showing land ownership, the County plat books also include maps for roads, school districts, park and recreation systems, county commissioner districts, watershed districts and cities. 

The cost is $20.00 per book.
