The Stearns County road and bridge system consists of:
603.76 miles of County State Aid Highway, all of which are paved.
361.42 miles of County Road (310.08 miles of paved road, 51.34 miles of gravel road).
220 bridges. This includes bridges owned by townships that the County inspects.
Stearns County Public Works is responsible for the construction, inspection, maintenance, and repair of these roads and bridges.
