Ski Patrol

The Cross Country Ski Patrol is over for 2012-2013 season.  Please check back to this page to sign up this fall.  We usually start the signup process in October.  Thank you to all our volunteers.

If you'd like to volunteer, just pick out your favorite skiing parks, Quarry Park, Warner Lake County Park, Mississippi River County Park and Kraemer Lake/Wildwood County Park, and are an at least intermediate skier you are qualified.  You give directions to fellow skiers and fill out a small report at the end of your shift.  The reports are easily done online. 

Night Skier Ski patrol volunteers monitor and report conditions at four County parks:

  • Kraemer Lake/Wildwood Park
  • Mississippi River Park
  • Warner Lake Park
  • Quarry Park
As a thank-you, patrol volunteers will receive a free Quarry Park annual permit for every two dates you patrol (max 4 dates/2 permits).

Our online registration process involves three easy steps:

  2. Accept the orientation
  3. Select dates from the calendar
