Cross-country Ski Licenses

This state ski pass is required only for Kraemer Lake/Wildwood County Park.  The other County parks do not require ski licenses. (However, Quarry Park does require a parking permit.)    

Daily, Annual, or Three-Year skiing licenses are available for Individuals.

Fees:

  • Daily $6.00
  • Annual $20.00 (effective from July 1st of purchasing year to June 30 of following year, i.e. 07/01/2010 - 06/30/2011)
  • Three Year $55.00 (effective July 1st of purchasing year to June 30 of third year, i.e. 07/01/2010 - 06/30/2013)
 

Ski Trail Conditions

During cross-country ski season, we'll keep you updated on the condition of ski trails within Stearns County Parks.  We will groom trails when we receive at least 4" of snow.  We will re-groom if we receive at least 2" of new snow on at least a 6" base. 

To sign up for Ski Patrol, please click on the Ski Patrol tab.  Note: Ski Patrol season runs from December 15-February 28.  Thanks to our volunteers!  Check back in late October to sign up for the 2013-2014 season.

NO DOGS are allowed on the ski trails.  Please use the walking paths to walk your dogs.  NO Snowshoes are allowed on the ski trails.  Please use the walking trails to snowshoe.

A suggestion to skiers: If you wait an hour after the trail has been groomed, the track will set up better.
